It's Spiegeltent!

Although I've never wished to live in New York City (Boston is more my type), looking at pictures of Spiegeltent tempts me to pay the Big Apple a visit this summer. So what is Spiegeltent you might ask? It's a traveling venue originally hailing from Belgium at the turn of the century (20th that is, not 21st!) that's made of teek, beveled glass, mirrors, and velvet all contained within...you guessed it - a tent! Talk about a first date that will guarantee to impress...check out the pictures below and then start planning on who you want to take:

In addition to simply looking magical, swanky, and inviting, Spiegeltent will be housing performances by a multitude of bands, actors, and eye-popping contemporary burlesque acts in its summer home under the Brooklyn Bridge at the Fulton Fish Market. Some of them include:
